The Arizona National Livestock Show Ambassador Program allows students to serve as a spokesperson for the organization at county fairs, agriculture industry and community events for a one-year term, and earn a $2,000 scholarship for their service. In addition to the scholarship, Ambassadors are reimbursed for mileage and overnight accommodations when required to travel to approved events.

Ambassadors remain eligible to apply for additional scholarships through the Arizona National Livestock Show Scholarship Program.

ARIZONA NATIONAL AMBASSADOR – Keiran Faulkner

My name is Keiran Faulkner and I grew up in Yuma Arizona, the Winter Vegetable Capitol of the World. I was borninto an agricultural lifestyle, but my true agriculture involvement started at a young age when I started showing lambs for my local 4 – H Club, Yuma Moos. When I entered high school, I became an FFA member at the Cibola FFA chapter where I was an officer all 4 years of high school, and continued to raise market lambs up until graduation.  After I graduated I served on the 2016-17 State FFA Officer team as a State Vice President. In July of 2017 I was selected to represent the Arizona National Livestock Show as the Ambassador, which allows me to spread my love for the show, and inform others of how it can benefit them. I received my American Degree at the 90th National FFA Convention and Expo. I now attend Chandler Gilbert Community College where I am working to get my associates degree in general studies. I have a passion for informing my friends, family, and community about the agriculture industry and the vital role it plays in feeding and providing for our world. I plan to continue my education at Arizona State University and I hope to become an Agriculture Educator, to pass on my knowledge and passion for agriculture to the next generation.
